You can make use of tools like <span style=\"color: #ed3494;\"><a style=\"color: #ed3494;\" href=\"http:\/\/acronymcreator.net\/\"><strong>Acronym Creator<\/strong><\/a><\/span> to create the acronym.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>5.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Describe <\/strong>the <strong>impact your research may cause, <\/strong>and in what fields this impact will be seen: on a scientific level, financial, social\u2026<\/p>\n<h3><strong>6.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If your <strong>proposal <\/strong>is a little <strong>risky, <\/strong>something which is valued in ERC calls, make sure to <strong>include a brief description of a Plan B <\/strong>which helps to mitigate the possible risks associated to your initial proposal.<br \/>\n<div\n  class=\"veo-vimeo veo\"\n  id=\"146915193\"\n  ><\/div>\n<h3><strong>7.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>It is important to demonstrate your leadership qualities <\/strong>in your proposal by giving details of your track record, like for example, your experience leading national or international research groups, your supervision of students in the past&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>8.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Show your excellence, <\/strong>your <strong>impact <\/strong>and position in the <strong>academic world <\/strong>and also your <strong>capacity to shape and create research fields. <\/strong>Always remember to <strong>highlight information that backs up your strengths <\/strong>and avoid drawing attention to points which could show you in a bad light when compared to other candidates. For more information and to consult details about evaluation criteria go to the <span style=\"color: #ed3494;\"><a style=\"color: #ed3494;\" href=\"https:\/\/erc.europa.eu\/sites\/default\/files\/document\/file\/ERC-Work-Programme-2017.pdf\"><strong>ERC Work Programme 2017<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>9.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Make sure your <strong>important ideas and strong points t the beginning of your proposal <\/strong>\u00a0and emphasise them by using tools such as bold type, etc. <strong>The evaluators must understand the message you want to transmit the first time they see your proposal, <\/strong>so make it clear in the title, the initial summary and different elements of the proposal.<\/p>\n<div\n  class=\"veo-vimeo veo\"\n  id=\"147297285\"\n  ><\/div>\n<h3><strong>10.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Be as specific as you possibly can in your affirmations and avoid including things which can not be independently verified. <\/strong>And, of course, <strong>avoid filling up with meaningless text: <\/strong>everything you say should be important and have its place in the proposal.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>11.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Present your ERC proposal <\/strong>in a <strong>clear, structured <\/strong>and<strong> easily-read <\/strong>way. Use <strong>subheadings, lists, highlighting. <\/strong>Furthermore, you can help the proposal through the use of <strong>tables <\/strong>and <strong>diagrams <\/strong>(in black and white to make them easier to read) to show <strong>information in a more visual way<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>12.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Make sure your <strong>proposal <\/strong>is <strong>written in perfect English<\/strong>, and if it is possible, have it reviewed by a native speaker.
