Veronika fixo o seu doutoramento no Instituto Max Planck de F\u00edsica e obtivo o seu t\u00edtulo na Universidade Ludwig Maximilian de Munich en 2015. Para a s\u00faa tese mediu propiedades fundamentais de part\u00edculas utilizando datos do experimento do colisionador Belle en Xap\u00f3n e obtivo os mellores resultados do mundo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Veronika incorporouse \u00e1 Universidade de Santiago de Compostela e ao IGFAE en 2015 como investigadora postdoutoral. Desde ent\u00f3n, foi membro do experimento LHCb no Gran Colisionador de Hadrones (CERN). LHCb \u00e9 unha colaboraci\u00f3n de 1500 membros onde Veronika ocupou importantes postos de responsabilidade para liderar equipos internacionais de investigadores. Ademais desenvolve m\u00e9todos novos baseados en redes neuronais profundas para aumentar a precisi\u00f3n deste e outros resultados f\u00edsicos importantes do LHCb.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ademais da bolsa Ram\u00f3n y Cajal, Veronika obtivo moitas outras bolsas e premios, inclu\u00edda unha Asociaci\u00f3n correspondente do CERN, un Juan de la Cierva &#8211; incorporaci\u00f3n (2017) e un Discovery Early Career Award (2020, Australia). Ten m\u00faltiples publicaci\u00f3ns, case exclusivamente en revistas de alto perfil. Veronika estivo liderando a medici\u00f3n insignia de LHCb dunha fase chamada phis onde produciu os resultados m\u00e1is precisos do mundo no pasado. Neste proxecto, desenvolver\u00e1 t\u00e9cnicas novas para esta an\u00e1lise particularmente complexa para mellorar a\u00ednda m\u00e1is a s\u00faa precisi\u00f3n. Centrarase na etiquetaxe de sabor, que \u00e9 un ingrediente crucial para esta e outras medidas importantes de LHCb. Veronika estudar\u00e1 un novo enfoque, a etiquetaxe de sabor inclusivo, que se basea en redes neuronais profundas e ten como obxectivo explotar os datos de maneira \u00f3ptima.
