A Coruña, September 3, 2019.- The Rector of the University of A Coruña, Julio Abalde, and Elena Pazos, InTalent UDC-Inditex researcher, will explain tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4, at a press conference, in the Rector’s Press Room, at 12:00, the research project for which the European Union has just awarded this scientist a Starting Grant of 1.5 million euros.
The European Research Council (ERC) has just announced the award of a total of 20 research grants to Spanish scientists. The ERC Starting Grants are very prestigious and difficult to obtain as they are very competitive and projects are submitted from all over the world; in fact, in this call a total of 408 grants were awarded to researchers from 51 countries.
The University of A Coruña adds a new Starting Grant to its team of researchers. Scientist Carlos Gómez received it in 2016. Professor Héctor Gómez also previously received it.
