This network has made public this recognition that distinguishes seven universities in Spain, including the UDC, and research centres.
The award identifies research institutions and organisations that support a favourable and stimulating working environment for researchers. This award culminates the recognition of excellence in human resources in research by the European Commission. To obtain this seal, it is necessary to demonstrate good practices for the recruitment of researchers in an open and transparent model based on merit. For the Vice-Chancellor for Science Policy, Research and Transparency, Salvador Naya, obtaining the HR seal is “excellent news for universities, since there are European projects for which it is necessary to have this seal; there is also the possibility of being able to compete for unique projects for universities that have this distinction”. The University of A Coruña, Naya announced, will already include the criteria of the seal in the next call for the InTalent UDC-Inditex program, for the recruitment of prestigious postdoctoral researchers with international visibility and extensive experience, which is scheduled for the end of this June. It will be the first call to be regulated by these good practice recommendations.
